LFW Day 2 , Bernard Chandran- Quality Style in Spades!

wonderful bright colours - loved them!

This would look great on Samantha Cameron

very wearable black - like the texture contrasts

Simple patterned, textured dress, perfect proportions

A glamourous collection -
It was a pleasure meeting Bernard Chandran for a quick interview post his brilliant show in the Grand Hotel Northumberland Avenue yesterday. His PR company headed by Portia did a magnificent job in this splendid venue. I loved this slick and classy show. The collection was a perfect reflection of Bernard's Indian Malay influences having been born and bred in Kuala Lumpur. I really liked the fusion of bright eastern pinks and reds with textured and glossy black fabrics. The models looked like exotic birds. He experimented with interesting tailoring techniques which reflected the folds, tucks and pleats found in Indian traditional costume. The collection is very wearable, perfect for the market he is aiming for. He understands what woman want - to look effortlessly fabulous!
He chose to show in London because he rates the freedom of creative expression and inspiration this City provides. More on this later.
