POLICY UPDATES

Information Update on Shipping & Self Collection
CoachnMuchMore has been operating strictly on a 'shipping only' basis since it's onset in 2006. Very rarely and on a case-by-case basis, some customers have been allowed to pay in full and then self collect. We have not been providing any discount for self collection simply because self collection takes more time to arrange, co-ordinate, & a one hour window time is set aside especially to accommodate a single self collection. Shipping on the other hand is done in bulk twice weekly and within the same time frame of an hour is completed for many packages at one go. It is therefore more cost effective for us to ship all packages rather than consider requests for self collection. While some blogshops charge fees for self collection, we simply consider shipping complimentary and so if self collection is requested and approved, the price of goods remain the same. This policy will continue to remain status-quo & no exceptions will be given moving forward on the cost of the goods. We really appreciate your understanding.

Self collection is also subject to approval by us. Approval is based on our schedule at any one time. On occasion, our schedule does not permit us to be at a certain location and allocate 30mins to an hour to wait for self collection. As such, when we are not able to, we will politely decline and inform accordingly. Rest assured we always try our best to accommodate reasonable buyers whenever we can.

Self collection must also be at our convenience at a location specified by us. The location is usually our 'base' where all our items are located. This just makes it simpler as we do not wish to transport the items here and there or carry it with us to avoid any accidents or damage to the items. In some cases, if we will not be at our base, then we may suggest an alternative base for collection. Our base is usually residential. We do not do meet ups in commercial locations like malls, shops, by the side of the road, petrol stations, bus stops, restaurants and so on. The reason again is related to time & other related costs incurred, including the safety of your item.

Self collection also incurs other costs like phone calls and several sms-es to arrange time, location, date and give directions. As such, to avoid unnecessary added expenditure, we will email directions and also use google map to help you locate our base. We also provide very in depth complete directions from wherever you are coming from. If you are still unclear about the location or generally do not have very good sense of direction and the location is very foreign/unfamiliar to you, we strongly insist on shipping. We will ONLY approve self collection if buyers are willing to come to residential locations (usually our base), is familiar with the location and are willing to come at a time and date convenient to us. If buyers are not able or willing to do so, we will ship all items as shipping is our default method of delivery. It is fast, reliable and can be insured. We have been shipping using the same method for nearly 4 years and it has proved to be extremely reliable and safe :)

We will blacklist buyers if they cancel at the last minute or make unreasonable changes which we deem to be inconsiderate or simply inappropriate, and ship the items instead. Sorry ladies, our time is very limited and we prefer to use it to serve those who are genuine, honest, and understanding.

Balance Payments
We have had several issues pertaining to balance payments in the past so we wish to clarify some of them here.

Balance payments are due IMMEDIATELY once item has reached Malaysia.
Balance payment should NOT be held back only to be paid once item is self collected. We do not have (COD) Cash On Delivery facilities. We only allow full balance payment, followed by self collection .
Balance payment should NOT be held back waiting for the date/time of self collection to be decided.
Balance payment should NOT be held back if the buyer is not ready for us to ship immediately due to reasons like they are not in the country, or away indefinitely.

Regardless of when the item is going to be shipped or self collected, all balance payment is due immediately once we send out the notification email saying your item is here. It is the buyers' responsibility to arrange for payment to be made either online or by any other means as these are the Terms & Conditions of our site. Reasons like "I have no online banking" or "I don't trust online banking" are not valid reasons. (Online banking is considered the best way to make payment for all online shopping needs so we strongly suggest that buyers subsribe to the service.) If you do not have this facility for any reason, please ensure you are able to make a cash deposit quickly(within 24 hours). Cheque payments take time to clear and so they are not encouraged.

We are not unreasonable people. We are just unable to constantly see to the needs of the many different buyers' personal preferences which requires us to constantly make exceptions and adjustments to our policies. We respect those who respect us, and hope to do business with like-minded people who are understanding and reasonable as well.
